Invoices for Materials and Services Charge (also referred to as school fees or M&S Charge) are enclosed. Pursuant to Section 106A of the Education Act the Chief Executive has given approval for the Ocean View R-12 College Materials & Services Charge as determined by The Governing Council for the forthcoming academic year for R-12 as below, to be legally recoverable amounts for 2017.
Fees are due to be paid by end of Term 1, 13th April, 2017.
HAMBOURS FOR SCHOOL UNIFORMS
The wearing of uniform at Ocean View College is compulsory. Management of the college uniform is through the Uniform Committee, a sub-committee of the Governing Council
HAMBOURS are our new uniforms suppliers from March, 2017. You can purchase either on-line or from their shop at 2 Wilson Street, ROYAL PARK SA 5014. They are open 9:30 – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. Ordering on-line: https://hambours.com.au/ There is a link to Ocean View College where you can order and pay electronically and have it delivered to school.
PLEASE REGISTER NOW FOR A LOG-IN FOR UNIFORM SALES. Hambours take child protection seriously, and will only sell uniform to school families. They need you to create a secure log-in to enable uniform orders to be filled.
If you are a prospective parent interested in enrolling your child/young person at Ocean View College, please download the pre-enrolment form below and email or post it to the school to arrange an interview with the appropriate head of school.
The Ocean View College canteen is run by Metropolitan Canteens. It is open daily from 8.00am for breakfast. Students in Years R – 12 may use the canteen before school, during recess and lunchtime until 1.30pm.
To save time during breaks, students are encouraged to order food before school and move straight to the front of the queue to collect their meal.
The college fully complies with the DECS Healthy Eating Policy.

The role of the Governing Council is to:
- Affirm the school strategic directions, priorities and general programs (including the site learning plan)
- Develop local policy
- Inform decisions about financial and other resource allocation
- Oversee improvements to school buildings, grounds and facilities
- Ensure parent participation in decision making processes
- Report to the department and community on the school’s activities and outcomes
The Principal is responsible for the educational leadership, supervision and management of the school.
There are 12 elected members of whom 2 are from the Childcare section, 2 are from the pre-school and the remaining 8 from across the college. There are also 3 staff representatives elected by the staff of Ocean View College.
